From early beginnings in New York…
For DJs Nate and GS (both musicians: piano, keyboard and tenor sax), it all started in Troy, NY innocently enough - a few parties here and there grew into a weekly gig at Elda's bar, followed by formal events, and a long-running radio show called Tension on WRPI 91.5 FM devoted to electronic and dance music.
In 2008 DJs Nate and GS landed a permanent residency at reBar in Brooklyn, NY with regular Thursday, Friday, and Saturday night events. In 2011 DJ Nate became the house wedding DJ for Sunday weddings while DJ GS continued with weekly Friday night bar sets. This eclectic Brooklyn establishment attracted many non-traditional couples and we thrived in providing the perfect groove for alternative & creative weddings.

2014 brought the opportunity to establish Terrace DJ and center our new business in the Philadelphia area, while still continuing to provide personalized & client-focused DJ services.
Now in our tenth year and over 150 weddings and events later, our proven success shows the continued demand for song selection creativity in client-focused DJ sets without mic hype tactics to detract from being in the moment with your best friends, family, and music.

We had a wonderful experience working with DJ Nate for our wedding. He's professional, flexible, easy to work with, and brings a wealth of experience and expertise. We had some specific requests wanting to incorporate music from different cultures, and he did an amazing job executing on our vision. The dance floor was the place to be! We had multiple guests tell us how much fun they had dancing and that the music mix was great.
